Since the charity was established 50 years ago by Prof Sir Netar Mallick and Mr Bob Johnson, the Trustee Board has evolved regularly. This ensures a continual flow of fresh ideas while maintaining strong governance and best practice.
The charity is governed by nine Trustees, all of whom are doctors and surgeons leading in research, education, and patient care. In addition the Board of Trustees, we also have a Fundraising Manager and a Fundraiser.
Although the fundraising team is based at Manchester Royal Infirmary, they regularly travel to renal hubs across the North West.
