I joined Kidneys for Life in 2017 and was originally based at Salford Royal. In 2020, I moved to Manchester Royal Infirmary to take up the role of Fundraising Manager.
In my role, I see every day how kidney disease affects people of all ages. For 50 years, the charity has been instrumental in funding research projects, and it’s so important that we continue to build on this legacy.
Without a doubt, the highlight of working for KFL is meeting the most amazing and inspiring supporters.
I have also had the opportunity to take part in several fundraising events myself, most recently the London to Paris cycle ride. While certainly a challenge, it was an unforgettable experience and one that I would recommend to any budding cyclists!
Kidneys for Life is very lucky to have such engaged board of Trustees and it’s a pleasure to work alongside them.
