The Morecambe Bay Walk has unfortunately been cancelled due to recent heavy rainfall, which has made the route unsafe. We are very grateful to the Guide Over Sands Trust, who walked the bay this morning to survey conditions. Following this, Michael Wilson confirmed that the route could not be safely crossed, and all walks for this weekend have been cancelled.
We know this news is disappointing, and we’re truly sorry to all of our wonderful supporters who had planned to join us. The good news is that Guide Over Sands have offered us priority booking for next year’s walk. As soon as the 2026 date is confirmed, we will be in touch. Your booking will automatically transfer, but if the new date doesn’t work for you, just let us know
